Why does Coffee Party consider itself a transpartisan organization when the middle class centric values it advocates are generally defined as Liberal?

A:

We’re beyond the need for bi-partisanship. What we need a full-scale rejection of partisanship because both parties are plagued by similar issues. We count among our ranks people who may describe themselves as liberals, progressives, Democrats, moderates, Independents, Republicans and conservatives. It is hardly surprising that such a coalition can be built when the need for change is so dire. In the end, transpartistan essentially means transcending parties, not including all parties. It's about not relying on easy political labels, but seeing and valuing other people as individuals with unique experiences and insights.
